Originating
from Poole, on the Dorset coast in the UK, Shannon has always
been fascinated by the Ocean. Completing a BSAC Snorkelling
qualification at the age of thirteen allowed him to take
his first steps into exploring under the waves.
His first scuba dive was in 1991 whilst
on a trip to Phuket in Thailand where the real addiction
began. The following year he completed an Open Water Course
in Eilat Israel and has now progressed to be an Underwater
Photography Instructor and Dive Guide in Western Australia.
Shannon attended a Martin Edge underwater
photography course in 1999 and has never looked back.
He has won and been placed in numerous
photographic competitions across several Continents and
has been published in magazines, websites and books.
Shannon and his wife Amanda,
who is also a keen diver and underwater model, made a life
change in 2005. They sold their Computer Services Company
in the UK and relocated to Fremantle in Western Australia
in early 2006. Shannon is now putting his energy into marketing
his underwater photography as Fine
Art and teaching his passion for capturing images of
the Ocean Realm.
